The December Night litter: Thursday 7th December at 23.37 Sira's and Vilje's first kitten was born. At 00.23 the fifth one had welcomed the world, and Sira wa very, very proud. Sadly a beautiful tortie girl was stillborn. She arrived around half an hour after the fifth kitten. This litter does not have the variety of colours as sister Siri's litter with Vilje, but they are all just as strong types with beautiful profiles, good chins, great lengths and strong boning as Vilje's first litter in our cattery. What a wonderful temper they have too! The kittens' names are inspired by our experiences from this cold, and starry winternight while we waited for the kittens to be born. In December we wait for lots of nice things to happen; the winter solstice to give us more sun and light and Christmas with all the joy and love it brings. A couple of names are related to Christmas.
